Kim Kyung Hyun

Kyung Hyun Kim (Sally) is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Practice Group of Selvam LLC and a key member of the firm’s Korea Practice. She regularly acts for Korean clients in cross-border transactions and is a trusted advisor to both Korean and international companies operating in or entering the Southeast Asian market.

Sally specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory matters. She advises clients through all stages of the transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence to negotiation and completion, and is known for delivering commercially sound and actionable advice tailored to the unique business needs of each client.

In addition to her transactional work, Sally advises on licensing and regulatory matters, particularly in fintech and digital payments. Sally is also well-versed in Singapore employment law and regularly advises on employment contracts, terminations, and regulatory obligations.

Sally also brings a unique background in sports management and is well-versed in the commercial and regulatory landscape of the sports industry. Her prior experience in this field allows her to offer valuable insights to clients operating in or engaging with sports-related businesses, including sponsorship arrangements, athlete contracts, licensing, and event-related agreements.

Her clients include a diverse range of companies, including multinational corporations, regional conglomerates, and emerging growth companies. She is deeply committed to providing practical, solutions-oriented legal advice that aligns with her clients’ commercial objectives and timelines.

Sally holds a Bachelor of Science from New York University (2011) and a Juris Doctor from Singapore Management University (2019). She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020.

She is fluent in both Korean and English.
